The financial world is going through an era of digital transformation. Financial
institutions are increasingly using state-of-the-art financial technologies for retaining
their competitive advantage and fostering a culture of innovation for effective
management of customers, products, and services. Data-driven decision making
using machine learning and Big Data has become the norm for leadership in the
hyper-digital world. The impact of social media, mobility, Internet of Things,
blockchain, and artificial intelligence-based robotics is being felt as firms strive to
meet the expectations of the new-age millennial customers through digital mastery.
Digital change management in the banking and financial services industry and
capital markets needs new capabilities in leaders who have the vision to develop
novel technological innovation for transforming the world of banking, trading, risk
management, customer management and advisory, payments, and credit
management. This program aims to inspire leaders of firms with the required
organizational and technological knowhow for creating a novel digital vision for the
financial organizations with measurable impact.
Objectives
1. Learn how financial technologies are bringing about a digital transformation in the
financial services industry
2. Understand the organizational and technological challenges faced by leaders in
driving digital transformation in financial companies.
3. Examine the various global best practices that have been adopted by digital
natives and digital innovators of the financial world for creating optimized and
flexible processes and transformed products targeting millennial customers.
4. Learn the role played by data analytics and Big Data in problem solving and
generation of actionable insights in banking, trading, risk management, customer
management and advisory, payments, and credit management.
5. Learn how transformation leaders overcome the challenges of digital
transformation through digital mastery in mobility, social media, Internet of
Things, blockchain, augmented reality and robotic process automation.
6. Develop a roadmap for digital transformation for the financial organization.

The pedagogy will be highly interactive. It will leverage use of technology.

Mode of Delivery:
The online sessions will be delivered on JITMRL platform through direct-to-desktop [D2D] held twice a week and campus modules at IIM Ahmedabad (Subject to
government regulations)

Assessment Methodology:
Participants are assessed on the basis of Online Interaction and attendance criteria fulfilment. For More Information, please refer the brochure.
Certification
At the end of the Programme, eligible participants will receive a Certificate of
Completion (CoC) of the Programme from IIM Ahmedabad subject to the
assessment and attendance criteria being fulfilled.
IIMA Alumni Status:
Participants who are attending short-duration Executive Education Programmes for the first time, on or after April 1, 2012, will have to attend for a total of 21 days in one or more programmes in order to be eligible for alumni status and alumni identity card, both of which will be awarded on the payment of a one-time alumni fee of INR 10,000/- + GST.
