About This Course
The Strategic Project Management by IIM Ahmedabad is built to close that gap.
Over 5 to 6 months, it moves participants from running projects to owning outcomes:
tying every phase of the lifecycle to business strategy, leading cross-functional teams
under pressure and using AI to plan, monitor and de-risk decisions in real time. Two
campus immersions at IIM Ahmedabad anchor the learning in direct faculty access
and peer exchange.
Programme Objectives
(i) Align the project lifecycle with business strategy to ensure all four stages,Concept, Planning, Execution, and Commissioning, contribute to long-term business goals and measurable value.
(ii) Leverage AI in project management to automate processes, predict overruns, optimise resources, and enable data-driven decisions.
(iii)Balance technical expertise with leadership skills, from risk analysis and budgeting to stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
(iv)Manage AI-specific projects while addressing technical uncertainties, AI risks, ethical considerations, and change management challenges.

The programme will be delivered on TIMESPRO’s platform through direct-to-desktop [D2D] and campus modules at IIM Ahmedabad

Every Saturday 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM
Evaluation Methodology
IIM Ahmedabad shall carry out the examination and evaluation required for certification.
Participants are evaluated based on examinations for all the courses. Participants will be given any one of the following grades: “Satisfactory Plus” (S+); “Satisfactory” (S); “Unsatisfactory” (U). A participant will be asked to leave the programme and the fees will then be forfeited in any of the following cases:
1. If a participant gets 2nd U for academic indiscipline wherein Academic Indiscipline includes cheating/ copying/ plagiarism in assignments, examinations and facilitating cheating in anyway or is found having integrity issue during the programme.
2. If a participant gets 4th U for under-performance.
3. If a participant gets 1 U for academic indiscipline and 3Us for under-performance.
4. The norms of the programme require a participant to attend at least 80% of attendance to become eligible to receive the certificate, failing which a participant won’t be awarded the certificate.
Certification
At the end of the Programme, eligible participants will receive a Certificate of Completion (CoC) of the Programme from IIM Ahmedabad subject to the assessment and fulfilment of attaining overall 80% attendance and evaluation criteria.
IIMA Alumni Status
Participants who are attending short-duration Executive Education Programmes for the first time, on or after April 1, 2012, will have to attend for a total of 21 days in one or more programmes in order to be eligible for alumni status and alumni identity card, both of which will be awarded on the payment of a one-time alumni fee of INR 10,000/- + GST.
Library Access
Restricted remote access to the library resources will be provided for the programme duration.

Working executives with a graduation (10+2+3 or equivalent) in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks
3 or more years of work experience after graduation
